About Us
Beautifully Ill, Inc. was founded from lived experience, not theory. We exist because too many women, especially Black women, are dismissed, delayed, misdiagnosed, or left to navigate chronic and mental illness alone. Our founder’s journey through complex illness, medical neglect, financial disruption, and advocacy revealed a painful truth: healing is not just physical, it is systemic.
Beautifully Ill, Inc. was created to change how illness is understood, treated, and supported. We bridge the gap between healthcare, mental wellness, and real-life survival by offering education, advocacy, resources, and community-centered programming for women living with chronic and invisible conditions. We believe strength does not require silence, and healing should never be a privilege.
Empower. Support. Thrive.
Born from a hospital bed and a fire that wouldn't go out, Beautifully Ill, Inc. is more than a nonprofit—it’s a movement. Founded by Kendra Eberhart, a dynamic patient advocate, marketing strategist, and visionary, our organization was built with one radical idea: that women living with chronic and mental illnesses deserve to heal loudly, not silently. We serve all women—with a focused heartbeat on Black women and women of color—who are too often overlooked, misdiagnosed, dismissed, or denied. Our mission is to amplify voices, challenge medical bias, and shift the narrative around what it means to live with invisible pain.
💜 Our Story
Kendra knows this battle intimately. After facing her own long, painful journey through Crohn’s disease, fibromyalgia, anemia, and healthcare negligence, she turned her pain into purpose. From hospital stays to courtroom battles, she witnessed firsthand how the system fails women—especially women of color—again and again. But instead of breaking, she built something powerful. Beautifully Ill, Inc. launched in 2024 to advocate, assist, and awaken.

💪🏾 Why It Matters
We believe healing is a right—not a privilege.
We believe your story has power.
We believe that even when the world ignores your pain—you are still worthy of care, dignity, and rest.
So we fight. For those who can’t. For those who are tired. For those who are healing quietly. For those healing loudly. For those who feel invisible. For those who are Beautifully Ill.
